"Walking in Winter" By Craig Chambers

I always slow down in winter as if there is less people that need to know the Lord. I just always assumed that people on the: street wouldn't stop and talk to me or want a gospel tract, after all it's cold. However this winter was going to be different here in Vermont, I was going to carry the message of Christ to the cold corner were I street fish at. Its several weeks before Christmas and I decide to try a new tract, Jumbo Christmas Cash (www.customtractsource.com).
The first day I go is somewhere in the 20 degrees range so it's kinda cold, not a cold as Vermont gets mind you but cold none the less. I have this corner thats by a small park and four way light. It's rather large area with plenty of room to move around I say this because I don't actually walk in winter I pace in winter. When theres times of low foot traffic I pace to keep warm. Well anyways this was a cloudy day but there was a lot of people out and to my surprise they took the tracts, they were very well received. I need to get some to stop and talk to me what can I do. Ask a question, if you were to die tonight would you make it to heaven. Worked good, had some good conversations about the Lord. So winter is okay to witness in, go figure?! I continue to go out to my fishing spot but I do have a prayer request. I don't have a van anymore it broke down for the last time and can only borrow my sons car from to time so its hard to get out. I hope to have a new van in February because I hope to have gotten enough money together by then please pray we can find something that will fit our needs as a family and of course my evangelistic pursuits as well.
God bless

This post is a perfect example of how one inspired by Christ's love can make a difference. Even in New England's winters, we can and must be a bold witness, love knows no weather or geography, it knows nothing of our money, transportation or health, it just loves! Love loves! Simple as that, please be inspired by this true story as I am and go be a witness!
Be Holy!
